Classroom Website!

Here it comes. All the different projects I have created in my technology class are all coming together. For our final project, we are getting the chance to create a classroom website. However, since I do not have a classroom yet, this could be a little difficult. I am really excited to have the chance to make a website that I will be able to use in my furture classroom.

Classroom websites are a great way everyone to stay connected and in the loop.A classroom website can serve so many different fuctions! This website will allow me, as a teacher, to showcase what I have done and where I plan to go, both professionally and with my students. Parents and students can check assignments when they are sick, or if they forgot to write something down during class. This site is also a great way to communciate with all the parents in my classroom. Everyone is so busy with everything they have going on these days, a classroom webiste with a classroom blog is a great way to have the lines of communication always open.

The website I am going to design will contain: a homepage, teacher bio, resources, some of my prejects over the past year, and a page of my choice. The page of your choice is a great place to put a class calender, allowing parents/guardians to know whats going on in the classroom, or a classroom supply list.
